The "Foresight of China's Current Relay Industry Market Outlook and Investment Planning Analysis Report" issued by the Foresight Industry Research Institute shows that the above-mentioned industries use a considerable amount of relays. With the development of these industries, it will undoubtedly promote the further expansion of the relay market. In 2010, although the number of relay exports decreased, the export value increased, indicating that the added value of export relays has increased. At present, the high value-added products in the relay industry have been greatly improved, and they have gradually replaced imported products in some areas.
With the gradual implementation and deepening of my country's ten major industry revitalization policies, the demand and application areas of relays will continue to expand while consolidating. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, my country's traditional electromechanical relays will maintain a growth rate of not less than 7%-8%, solid state relays will grow at a rate close to 15%, and special relays will develop rapidly at a rate of more than 20%.
The Relay Industry Research Group of the Forward-looking Industry Research Institute believes that my country’s relay industry will gradually accelerate its transformation from a “manufacturing country” to a “creating country”, and the situation from export-driven to domestic demand and export going hand in hand will become increasingly prominent, especially for high-end products.
